I’m Josephine Byrnes-Luna and have a genuine passion and interest in people and their development especially during change and transition. Over my working life I have had an extensive career, including running my own private practice (Established 2007) with individuals, couples, families and the corporate sector where I have truly enjoyed working with people helping them to make positive changes.
I have specialties in career coaching, workplace dynamics, management coaching, facilitation, personal and relationship counselling, childhood development & parenting, professional supervision (ACA College of Supervisors) and am an Accredited Mediator (NMAS).
I have spent time working with child care professionals showing them how to positively shape behaviour in children whilst in their care and environment and have a strong background in marketing, training, organisational change and development in public and private organisations. Since opening my practice in 2007, and ongoing professional development I have become aware of the vast issues people and organisations face and have worked to provide a range of services to meet their broad needs.
I work passionately with my clients to restore balance and bring back the positive in their lives. This can include working towards solutions to life’s challenges, finding better ways to cope, handling stress, anxiety and conflict in healthier ways, dealing with difficult relationship situations, improving personal and professional relationships and applying effective parenting techniques.
I am a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, a qualified member of the Australian Counselling Association, member of the ACA College of Supervisors, Accredited Mediator (NMAS) and JP.
I offer a warm and friendly environment where people love to come and talk, feeling free to talk the ‘load off within’ and restore the balance back into your life to enable you to continue your beautiful journey.
Even if it is a chat once a month, you can experience the many benefits to be gained through talking things out rather than letting them ‘fester’. Leaving issues unresolved for too long often results in health decline, so a lesser feeling in the joy of life and ultimately a longer journey in working through things.
On a personal level, I am a very happy wife and mother of two boys, and I continue to enjoy and cherish the support of a very loving family as I pursue my dream – helping people.
I look forward to working with you.
